Founded in Williamston, MI in 2012, with a hope of bringing communities together to help those in need. To lead by example, and pay the blessings in our lives forward. Our basic philosophy is simple: many hands make light work, and each of us can make a difference, and together we can create a community of caring to help those in need.
After many years of consideration and planning, families within the Ingham County community made Many Hands possible. Having a strong desire to lead by example, for their own children and seeing the need for help in our community, Many Hands was formed. We want to excite and motivate others to give back and create a community of caring. We aim to grow by involving individuals, churches, schools, business, civic organizations and service clubs.
Our focus will be ELIMINATING HUNGER among Elementary-age youth within our community. Starting in the Fall of 2012, we will work with other local organizations to support their work fighting hunger and develop a Backpack / Weekend Survival Kit food program for communities currently and not yet involved, focusing in Ingham County. |
